This large felted wallhanging is inspired by pebbles gathered from the Norfolk Coast. I source bold matt colours to portray the deep ocean hues. A beautiful combination of mustard yellows, coral pink, prussian blues & turquoise.
Handmade using 100% merino wool fibres which shrink and interlock during the felting process. The design is then refined by hand with needle felting.
The organic shape formed and natural surface texture of the wool fibres create a highly tactile wallhanging.
The wallhanging measures approx 80cm x 38cm.
Each wallhanging can be hung directly onto the wall. The reverse of the piece features a beach wood dowel and cotton webbing ready to hang discreetly.
